Visualizing Experience
First two weeks of the Amal fellowship were full of excitement when we had 50 plus fellows on board and we were talking about life goals, life map and everyone is passionate and getting his or her points clear on everything In life. Getting the label of leader in the first learning group increased my excitement level and started the first meeting of PW which is discussing life goals with each other.
In start feelings was on high level but managing Course work and PW work with office work and university work was really a hectic task. I have to spend 8 hours in the office and 3 hours at night for Amal online courses and PW work. But I got happy at the end when PW was submitted and I visualized the whole week routine and new learning which I got in that week.
I learned how to make your life goals smooth and align them in such a way we can achieve them. Taking responsibility without having authority is one of the top lessons which I learned in the whole Amal journey. Don’t stop leading. It’s not time to throw in the towel because you’re being micromanaged. And, you especially don’t want to make matters worse by complaining to your colleagues about the constraints you’re dealing with. Look at the glass as half full and celebrate what you’ve been able to accomplish.
I discovered many things in this whole journey if we talk about them is finding positivity in every step of life. Giving values to other’s opinions working in a team can get better results rather than working alone. Aik aur Aik gyarah really works everywhere. Showing gratitude to everyone is such a cool thing which makes others happy and strengthen your relations as well. Showing small acts of kindness to others in their life may become the lollipop moment for others. Keeping balance in your personal and professional life like, hobbies and passion alignment.
Fighting with your procrastination and doing things in such a way like shake it until you make it. We learned many professional tools like how to get hired by making a superhero resume, cover letter, intro video preparation and performance in an interview. Learned working on Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint. We have no words to share all the things we learned and are really passionate to spread this type of positivity all around the world.
